We believe that your relationship with God should have three dimensions for growth: corporate worship, small group experiences and private devotions. Life 2011 is a simple way to read the Bible on a daily basis. You can get together with others in an Growth Nite class and learn more about reading the Bible.
Why should I read the Bible?
You should read and study the Bible because it is God’s Word to us. The Bible is literally “Godbreathed” (2 Timothy 3:16). It is God’s very words to us. The Bible will teach you what is right and true and will enable you to recognize false teaching. The Bible gives you the ability to know truth from error. It tells you what God is like. It teaches you how to live and grows your faith. To know God better you must spend time hearing what He has to say. The Bible is His message to you. If you want Him to listen to what you have to say, you should also listen to what He has to say. Although God can speak directly to your heart, you need to know His written Word so you can judge whether God is speaking to you, or the enemy is trying to deceive you.
