Bible Reading

We believe daily Bible reading is essential to a growing personal relationship with God. Corporate worship is important, but to really have that personal connection God designed us for and desires to have with us, we must seek Him daily in Bible reading and prayer.

Each year our church selects a method of daily reading so we can grow together and to help make it simple for everyone to get into God’s Word. It is our deepest desire to see individuals grow in Christ!

Why should I read the Bible?

You should read and study the Bible because it is God’s Word to us. The Bible is literally “Godbreathed” (2 Timothy 3:16). It is God’s very words to us. The Bible will teach you what is right and true and will enable you to recognize false teaching. The Bible gives you the ability to know truth from error. It tells you what God is like. It teaches you how to live and grows your faith. To know God better you must spend time hearing what He has to say. The Bible is His message to you. If you want Him to listen to what you have to say, you should also listen to what He has to say. Although God can speak directly to your heart, you need to know His written Word so you can judge whether God is speaking to you, or the enemy is trying to deceive you.
